THE WEEKEND THAT WAS YEEZY

The highly anticipated, love 'em or hate 'em, NIKE AIR YEEZY finally dropped this weekend (04/04/09) after months of rumors, sketches, and paparazzi pics circulating the web. This is the first time I've witnessed a shoe get this much attention that weren't a pair of Jordan's. If you're like me and live the lowly life of a student, the closest you'll get to a pair Air Yeezy's is in a daydream in an organic chemistry lecture (like today for instance). To those who lined up outside your favorite neighborhood shops, I applaud you for your dedication and your rather large contribution to the struggling economy. From right at home in Edmonton to the other side of the world in Manila, the Air Yeezy's are here.
